Two attackers rob man on Providence A 28-year-old man reported being robbed outside a convenience store Sunday on Providence Boulevard, according to a report by Officer Candace Davis. The victim was walking toward the store entrance when two men approached him. One of the robbers demanded everything the man had, and the man gave up his wallet, Davis wrote. One of the attackers grabbed the man from behind, and as he tried to pull away, they used a silver object, possibly a pipe, to hit him on the head.

The victim pulled a pocket knife and swung it at the man with the pipe, Davis wrote. The robbers then ran down Power Street behind the store, according to the report. The victim told Davis he did not call police right away because he wanted to go to the CVS9DE hospital to tend to his injuries. When she said she didn't have any, he told her he'd be back, and he left, Dillon wrote.
