The remains are to be cremated. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born October 23, 1947, in Creston, IA, daughter of George Wayne Quinn and Mary Emily Jane Quinn. She was preceded in death by her father.

She was a retired nurse. Survivors include her mother, MaryEmily Quinn; husband, James Fredrick Hexamer, three sons, James Fredrick "Scooter" (Traci) Hexamer, North Carolina; James Matthew Hexamer, Cumberland Furnace, TN; Michael Wayne (Linda) Crittenden, Dickson, TN; daughters, Jennifer "Sissy" Clark and Vern Mayberry, Cumberland Furnace, TN; Jessica Louise Saunders and Robert Heady, Clarksville; Shantal Leigh Crittenden, Georgia; a brother, Michael "Mickey" Quinn, Iowa; a sister, Carolyn (Craig) Mitchell, Clarksville; thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and one on the way. She was married to William Edmondson, former Mayor of Clarksville and State Representative of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Herman Davis, two sisters, Ruby Kelly and Pearl Roberts.

Mrs. Edmondson was the owner of Montgomery Hotel and Royal York Hotel and the former owner of Edmondson Bonding Company. She was a member of Madison Street Church of Christ. She is survived by various nieces and nephews, including Billy Weems, Kathleen Allwine and special friends, Mayor and Mrs. John E.
