Police are still looking for two teenagers who reportedly robbed a pizza delivery man of $58 at gunpoint in the 400 block of Donna Drive on May 23. According to reports, the victim told police two boys, about 15 years old, approached him from the side of a house where he was making a delivery. One of the teens was armed with a gun. The victim dropped four pizzas and side items he was carrying and gave the suspects the money, according to a police report.

The teens, one white and one black, and both about 5 feet 6 inches tall, fled after the robbery. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Debra Kolofsky at 648-0656, ext. 2318. The funeral will be at 1 Tuesday at Sykes Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Sidney Stine officiating Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. He was born Aug. 24, 1923, in Clarksville, the son of Charlie and Maude Jones Abernathy.

Mr. Abernathy was a member of Forest Street United Methodist Church. He was a refrigeration engineer at Fort Campbell and served in the U.S. Navy during World War IL. He was also a member of the Clarksville Rose Society and Retirees Band.

Survivors include his wife, Mozelle Crosslin Abernathy; a son; Clyde Church, Clarksville; a daughter, Jerry Church, Clarksville; a brother, Freddie Abernathy, Clarksville; and three sisters, Hazel Morris, Charlene Thomas and Judy Ussery, all of Clarksville. Pallbearers will be Fort Birdwell, Earl Eighmy and nephews. He also served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War IL. Mr. Welker was also appointed in 1986 as one of the three lead counsels in the Gander Arrow Air crash multi-district litigation.

He practiced law in Clarksville for 45 years. Mr. Welker was a member of First Presbyterian Church and a U.S. Army veteran.
