Brenda George Brenda Pauline George, 50, By LAUREN HOWARD The An inmate from the Department of Corrections tried to escape from a holding cell at the County Courts Center Thursday morning, sheriffs spokesman Ted Denny said. Ronnell Lebeny, who was convicted in 2001 of especially aggravated kidnapping and facilitation of aggravated rape, "went berserk" while left alone in the cell, Denny said, Leberry, who was in handcuffs, tried to break through the plexiglass window, the spokesman said. No one was injured, and Denny was not aware of any new charges filed against Leberry. Leberry was in court Thursday concerning a motion for his appeal case. Marion Wootton Marion Wootton, 99, Sparta died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004, at White County Hospital, Sparta Graveside services will be at 11 am today at Grace Chapel Cemetery with the Rev.
