She was preceded in death by her husband, MSG (Ret) Bailey Travis, U.S. Army and retired owner of Bailey Travis Gulf Station, and her daughter-in-law, Rosemary Travis. Survivors include her sons and their wives, Ron and Linda Travis of Knoxville, TN and Dale and Glenda Travis of Tallahassee, FL; and her grandchildren, John Travis and Emily Os-teich. He was born July 3, 1963 in Clarksville, TN. He was employed at Smithfield Industries. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles W. Austin and one grandchild, Cayden Kirby. He is survived by his mother, Aileen Austin Harris and husband Harold of Dover, TN; daughter, Amanda Waldo and husband Ronnie; two grandsons and one granddaughter, all of Savannah, GA; brother, Charles W.

Pendergrass, age 85 of Clarksville, TN, died on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at his residence. He was born on February 3, 1927 in to the late Willie John Pendergrass and Wince A. Ennis Pendergrass. He was also preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 2 p.m., at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, with Rev.

He was born on September 25, 1921 in Christian, County, KY to Burnley Duke Smith and Ellen Bertha Dresel Smith. He was also preceded in death by his oldest son, Burnley Duke Michael Smith. He spent his childhood in Monterrey, MX, then lived in Clarksville, TN and San Antonio, TX. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He graduated from Trinity University in 1955 with a degree in Biology.
